Meet Our Rescue Team

Christie	Christie is our Animal Placement/Transportation Coordinator.  She works in finding placements for our rescues, fosters, and owner-surrender dogs.  She not only coordinates and places the dogs brought into the Minidoka County Animal Shelter, but also works closely with animal rescue groups throughout Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Oregon, California, Montana, and Canada.  She is truly the driving force that makes our group so successful.  She shares her home with Rex and Sasha, her Miniature Schnauzers.
Kim & Jeff	Meet our Petfinder Photographers and our #1 Foster Family.  This husband and wife team was recently instrumental in providing emergency temporary housing for 19 puppies we had to pull from the Minidoka Shelter.  We can always count on this pair to help us in any way they can.
Lisa	Lisa is our Pitch-Hitter.  Shes comes to our aid whenever she is called.  She recently helped with a 4:00 AM emergency evacuation of the shelter.  She is a founding member of Waggin' Tails Rescue and has a heart of gold.  She is a part of our transport team and foster home provider. She is also a Pet Therapy volunteer with her Beagle, Checkers, and Ana, a Miniature Schnauzer as her canine partners.
Ann	Ann works behind the scenes of Waggin' Tails Rescue.  The time Ann spends working behind the scenes certainly makes a big difference to our group.  Her love and knowledge of animals is a valuable resource to our group.  She is also a Pet Therapy volunteer with her Standard Poodle, Taco, as her canine partner.  This therapy team participates in the R.E.A.D. program where Taco is truly a hit with the kids at the school.
Deb	Meet our Girl Friday, Deb.    She does a little bit of everything and tries to keep things on an even keel.  From emergency evacuations to transports or cleaning kennels, she certainly stays busy.  For the past four years, Deb, with her Pet Therapy canine partners of Phoebe, her Golden Retriever, and Wilson, her rescued Shih-Tzu, shown in the picture at the left, have been visiting long-term care facilities and hospitals in our area.   Recently she able to take her rescued Black Labrador Retriever, fondly called "Baby Clyde" and transform him into her third Pet Therapy partner.
Anita	We would be totally lost without Anita.  She is our transport driver.  Week in and week out she drives faithfully to the Minidoka Shelter and loads her van to the hilt with dogs. She is also a Foster Parent for us and has a passion for Grey Hounds and Pits.  We are so honored and so pleased that she has hooked up with us and is part of our team.
Kelly Girls Rescue Transport Team	The Kelly Family adopted Jacques from Waggin' Tails Rescue and provided him with a great home.  They continue to give back to our rescue by providing special transports for us. We are proud to have them as a part of our team and look forward to many more "Kelly Girls Rescue Transport Team" stories.  There is never a dull moment for this family.
