YOU CAN HELP
Volunteers and donations are vital to Waggin' Tails Rescue and their mission to rescue, provide sanctuary, and re-home abandoned, stray, and neglected dogs found in the Mini-Cassia areas of Idaho. Our mission also includes educating the public on animal welfare issues such as vaccinations, spaying and neutering, as well as helping our community end unnecessary euthanasia. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Volunteer Time
If you live in the Minidoka or Cassia County areas, we urgently need more volunteers. A lot of things we do include running supplies, picking up paperwork, taking a dog to a vet for shots, things on that order. If you would like to be a part of our Rescue Team, we could certainly use your help. Tell us what you would like to do and we'll find a place for you.
Since we do not have facilities to hold dogs, we rely on foster homes to temporarily care for rescue dogs. If you would like to volunteer as a foster home provider, please contact us for more information.
We also need someone to scout around the internet and other potential sources looking for grant opportunities for spay and neuter programs. We actually need a grant writer, but have a greater need for someone to scout for grant opportunities. We are not pros at writing grants, but we can certainly try.

Waggin' Tails Rescue Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization EIN# 27-1887437. All contributions are tax deductable.
Monetary donations go towards the ongoing care of our community's rescue animals, and towards supporting the community education and outreach programs we provide as part of our goal to prevent unwanted pets. You can use the convenient donation form below, or contact us for other ways to donate money. Any amount is greatly appreciated!

Banner ads are 125px x 125px and are located in the sidebar of our blog - the highest traffic section of our site due to the frequent updates, community interest in animals, and the sharing of blog posts on social media sites.

Recycle for Charity
Did you know more than 75% of all inkjet cartridges used in North America are thrown away when empty? That means more than 450 million of these cartridges are thrown away each year. Similarly, more than 130 million cell phones are discarded annually, according to the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Waggin' Tails Rescue is registered with Recycle4Charity - a company that recycles used laser toner, inkjet printer cartridges, and cell phones. If you have any of these items, instead of throwing them away, please consider sending them, or dropping them off to our contact address. This way of giving not only helps Waggin' Tails Rescue, but our environment as well! |
